1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a mom to a 3.5 yrs old toddler girl, and a wife to a deputy manager at a packaging company. I am from Dehradun and now I have started blogging as I couldn’t continue my work after marriage and motherhood. I like to post about products, makeup looks, parenting, engage on Instagram. I do it because I think I can become an influencer, it is in me and somewhere I live this kind of profession. It is just the beginning now I want to take it quite a far.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Beauty, fashion,  lifestyle, parenting. I mostly post about the products and share my views on it and then I post a few makeup looks, and sometimes about my little girl.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I haven’t decided any yet but, I am planning one a very soon.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I only use Beauty aplus to edit my pictures. Generally, I only adjust a little bit light and sharpness rest I don’t use filters as I feel they make your pictures clearly fake.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Shreya Jain, Masoom Minawala, Debasmita Bannerjee, Ankita Chaturvedi, Amominlove, Shalini Srivastava, momwearsprada are a few to name.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Everything what not? The influencers are liked by the audiences as they seem original to them. What they say, wear, recommend, where they go…people want to know and they follow. The samples they get from the big brands, the events they attend, the gifts, everything is just so fascinating.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

It gives you a platform to make your profile and you get notified for any collaboration, or campaigns going on. It also notifies to take part in the various ongoing events or activities.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I don’t think I can give any tip. But I would love it if the brands don’t ask the influencers to buy the products and then refund them after the post. It should be mutual understanding. I always post after a few uses of the product, take proper pictures with me..very important and then only add the post to my feed. I always tag the brand when I post about their product. I try to take the product picture so carefull that the name is clear. It should be visible to others.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

As I mentioned above, the picture should be clear, the post should be only made after a few usages …no hurry, you shall always carry the product in your hands. If possible make videos and use the product . The more quality the more original and more followers and more clicks or reach.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The trust that build up between the influencer and the brand. The continuity of being collaborated for the various campaigns togther.
