1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m an artist, working in many different media and styles, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – where I currently live.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Art, food, flowers, landscapes

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My last name, obvs, and that phrase, but it was taken so I made it a double ‘s’, which was also my late grandmothers initials

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I just use what’s available on my iPhone.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are tons, but basically anybody sharing the cool stuff they’re doing, I’m down with. @markjameslucas @year_of_color @romie___ there’s too many to name.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Stitch art! And watercolour/gouache paints. And collage art. This is what I’m really into now

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

? I don’t know if I am? But my favourite part about Instagram is seeing the amazing things people are doing, and being able to interact with them , it’s great. I learn new things all the time.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t speak down to people, have a good sense of humour, and have some real personal interaction with your audience. Free stuff never hurts either ?

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s paramount. I work very hard to create my photos, and it’s important to me that people know I am their maker.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Exposure – getting to interact with more people
