Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Nicole Kimberly @NicolexKimberly

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m an 18-year-old Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty blogger who aspires to be a model. I’m currently studying in Nanyang Polytechnic, in Mass Media Management.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have a passion for modelling, writing as well as dancing. I love learning about beauty products as I might want to be a makeup artist. I post a lot about my style of outfits on instagram and where I got them from!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s basically just my name with an “x” in between because “NicoleKimberly” was already taken, sigh.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t really use apps but just the Iphone app to add a filter and brighten my photos. I prefer to keep them as natural as possible!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really look up to Eunice Annabel (@euniceannabel), Peishi (@Speshi) as well as Rachel Wong (@rchlwngxx). I love the way they dress because their style is something I would be inspired by.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

It’s to believe in all that you can do and not look down on yourself. Don’t let what others say about you get you down. You decide your own destiny, and no one else.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being able to inspire people that no matter what, never give up.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I keep every advertorial honest and I don’t compare between brands because that would not be very nice.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just do what you know you can do best, and try not to copy anyone else! People like you for you!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to try out their products and do reviews about them. And the best part is that I’m able to help people out!
