Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Mina Petrovic @mistiqarts

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Mina, and I am a fashion designer turned Manga teacher from Serbia. This unique job enabled me to create first ever professional manga school outside of Japan, and to present my customized manga drawing lessons to the world via Youtube. I cover anime conventions on my channel as well as cosplay I do on the side.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post anything from my daily life to unboxings, travel, manga drawings , and my personal fashion photography

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Mistiqarts is a short and intentionally misspelled “Mystique arts” meaning many arts I like to do in my own way, representing mysterious and magical new worlds I like to create.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like using MeituPic, because its very easy and effective, but usually I dont even have to edit my photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My inspiration personally is the amazing Stefania Ferarrio , who is my body positive muse, and as for an artistic influence for me, Id have to say that t: @mattinata_wai inspires me so much

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Playing around with everyday topics and objects, and incorporate them in a fun way, to have fun every day with their work and photos

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

An opportunity to influence someones view on life, and show them that it is okay to be a simple person, enjoy your self and find your inspiration.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Find something about yourself, no matter how small or mundane it seems to you, and incorporate it into your work. For example,I use my fashion design to make anything into a silly fashion accessory, or play with it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality over quantity is imperative. If you feel exhausted take a break, but never let your quality suffer, strive to better yourself always.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like how it becomes an opportunity to meet people from influential companies, see their thought process, see how the industry works, and then weave your existence into it.
