Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Milan Cherian @milancherian

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Well, my name is Milan. And yes,its spelled exactly like the city in Italy. I am a freelance photographer from India. Among other things,I am a hardcore biker and loves to travel. And as a result,I have travelled extensively throughout India. I have even conquered the highest motorable road in the world ‘Khardung La’ on my motorcycle.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am a photographer, so I post a lot of travel photography pictures and pics from shoots that I do from time to time. And also the BTS pics(Behind The Scene).

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is my full name.Easier for people to find me I believe.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

As far as my mobile editing goes,I use Googles Snapseed the most,at times with Photoshop Touch.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow only few profiles. That way,my insta feed looks clean and uncluttered, and I see only the posts that really matters. So I follow some outdoor photographers and automotive photographers.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Snapseed and the power of raw editing on Snapseed.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Having to inspire people to think big, put forth beautiful imagery that will motivate them to do the same.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Get the local crowd involved. And occasionally ask feedback from them as to what you could be doing better, or what they would like to see more from you. And reply to comments wherever possible,that’s the only way to truly connect.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

To reach out to a wider audience and hopefully leave a mark where it matters.
