Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Mikie Bausin @mikiebauwow

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! I’m mikie, I’m residing in Taytay Rizal, Philippines. I’m a registered nurse at the medical city and currently do side line modelling for portfolios. I’m active in social media like facebook and instagram where I influence my followers in my posts.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I do love the essence of photography and modelling since I aspire of being a commercial model, this is gonna be my forte. I post a lot of my shoots done outdoors done by great photographers, I also love to post shot where I travel and the great food that is good in the eyes and lastly I share photos that I sponsored and to endorse products that they sent to me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Oh actually I heared a song of Mike Posner titled Bow Chicka Wow Wow and then my friends sang of it and changed the lyrics to my name like bow mikie bau wow. And I kinda liked it then. So thus, the name mikiebauwow was invented.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Ohhh I love to share my editing apps. And I fell in love with VSCO, this app really beautify my photos. It’s a click to go edit, it’s really simple to use. The next app is the Lightroom, This app let you play with colors out of the picture that you want to edit. It’s kinda fascinating to use though you must have lots of time to achieve that colors. And lastly, snapseed, it’s the bomb when it comes to detailing the pictures, it gives the natural look of the photos, and that is why i keep on using that app.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Oh I love the feed concepts of cha ocampo, christiana collings, janina manipol and kim santiago. They really inspire me to be a blogger and the one that inspire me the most is kim santiago, she have a great ideas in posting her pictures and how to pose like a star, she really share advices in life and I really appreciated that.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To pursue what they want to pursue because it will lead you to the path that you really want and aspire. You only live once and you gotta do it with of course courage and responsibility.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite would be the positive feedbacks that my followers give. As an influencer, we should have outputs on what we are doing so that we can do a lot better in our future posts. I really appreciate the people who always gave their 100% support, it really feel like we have to continue in what we love the most in influencing other people.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

That top tips would be look for influencers who have gained lots of followers to campaign their brands in facebook, instagram and youtube. I also suggest to do promo periods so that many people will attract. To maintain authenticity, you should not copy other ideas, you should think it with your own so that you can standout from others, you must take it with your heart and mind and truly you can make it a genuine.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The quality will be the essence of the output. If you put quality on something, you will attract people to follow you, but it must be in your own ideas. Originality construct a freshness in style and leaves a uniqueness over something. So if you have originality it will stick with quality.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I do love communicating with the brands by sharing my ideas to them and collaborating with them to promote the product, and the best part is when they appreciate what I’ve do to promote them, and have something to offer in return in a thoughtful way.
