Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Max @max_coza

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am student currently in my 3rd year of study in Chemical Engineering. I do runway and commercial modelling and I am from South Africa.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am very much interested in the fashion, food and fitness. I usually post a lot of fashion and fitness photos with food photography as well.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Max and my surname is Khoza, so I combined the name and surname and also played with the South African web domain “co.za” to produce the name max_coza.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Adobe Lightroom, Vsco, Snapspeed and aviary to edit my photos. I usually start editing with Lightroom then improve the colors or filters with Aviary or Vsco.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

i like @christianguzman @sellonhlapo@gq and gq inspires me the most.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They must try these new brogues from Trend and Miller.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Influencing people to inspire and believe in themselves. I love when people gain confident in themselves to tackle life and the challenges it brings.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tip is to set a standard and let people follow it and learn to be different.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content promotes authenticity and trust on your consumers. It is important to maintain quality and original content by exploring and studying your field.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the excitement and the drive to make a different to someone’s life.
