1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I’m Masha born in Ukraine. I grew up without a father and mother was a severe alcoholic who would sometimes leave for days if not weeks leaving me to care for my sister and I.
When I turned ten, our mother also passed due to unhealthy lifestyle resulting in multiple illnesses. As a result, my sister and I were sent to an orphanage, after which to different boarding schools.
When I was a teen, we were lucky enough to be given the option to be adopted and go to the USA. We found the family to be very good people who cared for us as if we were their own. At first adjusting was difficult but our parents were very patient and loving, they took their time teaching us the language and culture of the American people. We were very fortunate.
Modeling was my childhood dream which I’ve never had the opportunity to fulfill until I was already an adult. I went on a shoot to watch and took some test shots resulting in being asked to shoot again and again. I came in with the idea that I could turn this into a career, ensuring to focus on the science behind posing and facial expressions while behaving in a professional manner.
I now enjoy traveling all over the USA doing what I love – posing, dressing up and helping others looking to enter the industry.
