Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Marie-Therese Pfisterer @mariepfisterer

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hey, I have German blood, but I love the ocean more than anything, that’s why I call the ocean my ‘home’. I am traveling around to be next to the ocean as much as possible, to surf, to soak up cultures and to learn every day.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly I post surf-related and ocean-related posts, but also photography, lifestyle, outdoors.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

That’s my name… hehe 🙂 not a big story to tell. But I also own the social media accounts @saltinmyhair_mag and @surferscollective. Salt in my Hair is an online surf magazine and the name was created when I was sitting in Germany and looking through all my pictures that reminded me about my last roadtrip along the coast. I missed that salt in my hair so much… that’s how this name was created 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I normally edit with Lightroom, but I also use new apps that I come along or even Instagram filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are soo sooo many people that inspire me, the list would be too long. And because of that reason I created the platfrom Surfers Collective (@surferscollective) to feature all these amazing talents and creative people that inspire me everyday.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

QUESTIONS! But not the random question, ask something weird, stupid, funny or unexpected.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Living my passion. Photography and surfing are really my passions and through my studies in brand management I love brands, products and marketing as well. So I can combine everything. I love that!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

No texts on pictures. Working together with authentic people (not only super models). Variety. Good comibination of fb, instagram and stories.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

That’s the alpha and omega.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

That we both have a benefit and that I have a new reason to create great content again 🙂
