Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Manas Mradul @manasmradul

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Well, I am Manas Mradul, I’m a freelance designer and illustrator. I’m a dropout from NID, Ahmedabad & I’m a seller of handmade items on ETSY & Illustrator on DesignObjects. People always appreciate me for doing something different and upcycling & recycling objects lying in my house ! so I have just thought of getting into Blogging & Behance so that I can influence more people to go mad with their little ideas and turn them into big ones. And also to showcase the world that what i do for my passion.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

As an artist, I spend a lot of time of my day clicking photographs, working on different art pieces whether they are craftworks or any form of illustration and I try to showcase each of my post with some minimalistic decoration and flatlays. And I also do a lot of Outfit & lifestyle photography. So my feed is quietly mixed with all of my interests

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

As I don’t work in any brand or under any company I prefer my own name instead of any other username. So that’s why it’s just : manasmradul. Simple and totally mine 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually edit my photos using 2 apps i.e. VSCOcam & A color story. Using vsco I edit in some cool dark-toned images as I really love few filters of vsco especially the filters in aesthetic collection & I use a color story app to edit my images in bit pop up colors so that the colors stand out and it creates a really soothing & balanced feed

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Inspiration plays a big role in any person life and so am I, abeautifullmess, because they upload really pretty colour popped pictures that look really great on their feed.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Be Yourself & Be Original. Yes, that’s the ultimate key in achieving any goal on social media. If you are original about your ideas and posts. Sooner or later you will get the social media success because people will notice you, as people who copy others don’t go too far.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I really love when people get inspire by me & they even share posts thanking me. You can only inspire people when you are different & original & I’m really happy that I’m this much capable that I can inspire any person on this planet to do good. And i feel happy that I love to experiment but it’s me what you see ! I love being different and even if somebody doesn’t like or make fun of anything I wear or anything I do I just take them as my critique because I am that confident about my posts and it makes me feel more strong and passionate about my work and what I do in my life !

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands should not only invite and sponsor only the top bloggers, they should too trust the bloggers who are in this field for some less time but they have equal potential to change the brand image in the customer’s mind
My authenticity is what I feel inside that you get to see in all the posts and that’s what I do most of the times .

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality always beat quantity. Therefore you should focus on quality more instead of how many posts you have on your feed and write realistic captions on your photos which clearly defines your mood and you picture, obviously.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to discover new things but it’s not always new things that brands are sending me. Sometimes I get to travel a new place for a photoshoot and my job is to make my posts worth looking for people and to do it in such a way that people feels inspired and easy to do the DIYs and illustrations and they can try to make those things too, because when I do it in my way they get to see something different and that’s what I love being in this field.
