1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a brand ambassador with a focus on brands in the lifestyle & vaping industries based out of Toronto, Canada. I also work in social media & branding for my own startup agency.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest include fashion, beauty, vaping & beverages.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted something that was easy to remember, was representative of me & something that was easy to brand and use across all platforms, The M.J. Elle or (@themjelle) is what I came up with.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO CAM!! I save a variety of filter options on Pinterest and pick one that goes best with the tone of the image while keeping in mind the other themes published on my feed.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@BarbieBeth, @TammyHembrow, @NatalieHalcro, @Talleigha, @SamiiRyan – I love their style, aesthetic and way they create content for their feeds.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

love my @LD_West straps! They allow me to have my hands free & have my phone close all at once!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love helping brands find their audiences, and all the great people I get to meet through Social Media & Events I get invited to.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Allowing your influencers to put their touch on the branding, while sticking to the message you’ret trying to relay. You don’t want all your influencers sounding the same, and you want your “paid posts” to be as authentic and real as possible.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Having avenues to draw influence from while at the same time being inspired enough to add your own personal touch to your contents.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Trying new products and sharing them with my friends & followers.
