1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a born and raised mountain girl from Banff, Canada who loves travel, the outdoors and photography. I’m currently working as a travel blogger and Instagram influencer.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My favorite things are travel, mountains and food. I’m in the outdoors adventure travel niche on IG – you’ll see a lot of photos of me on summits 🙂

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nickname growing up was “Weezy”….

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I love Snapseed, Enlight and MuseCam. I do most of my editing on the computer through Lightroom, then I transfer the file to my phone where I touch it up with my apps.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My adventure buddy and photographer, @robintuck1 🙂

One of my favorite accounts in IG at the moment is @taramilktea.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Travel. No, seriously… I get so many messages from people saying they’ve been inspired by my feed to travel and get outdoors. Take the leap and just do it!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Apart from the free stuff? Haha, just kidding… I love the awesome people I get to meet through the IG community. Some of my best friends and travel buddies I’ve met through the app since becoming an influencer.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Trust the influencer you’re hiring to create great content for you. Don’t bind them with a million rules and restrictions or stifle their creativity. You’re paying them to be creative and come up with new ideas for you!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Good content is everything. If I don’t have something good to post, I don’t post anything.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

There’s a lot of cool brands and products out there that I would never have known existed. I’ve been introduced to tons of my favorite new companies through partnerships. I love it!
