Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Louise @mallielilly

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a former Danish fashion blogger from Denmark who’s been bloggin about fashion as well as beauty on my own blog for 3 years. However, due to a great workload from jobs and my study I had to stop blogging for a while. So right now I’m focusing on growing my instagram profile instead so when I start blogging again I will have followers that I already engage with

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion, mostly I post my own outfit pics. I also like to keep it a bit more personal sometimes so you’ll also find pictures of my dog Marley (and a couple of selfies of course..). In addition, I sometimes post food pics to make my account a bit more varied and colourful

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nickname is Lilly and my dog’s nick name is mallie so I just mixed those two.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Camera360 and Whitagram. I also use Adobe Lightroom on my computer as most of my photos are taken with camera and not iphone

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Basically all the fashion bloggers I follow I like. For instance Kenzas, Angelica Blick, Maria Kragmann, lux_fashion_and_more, Whowhatwear ect.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Post good quality photos. I’m not a huge fan of iphone pictures because they quality just isn’t the same. Quality pictures are also easier to edit to make e.g. colour pop

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to inspire people. I get so inspired my a lot of fashion bloggers so it’s nice to give something back and be able to provide inspiration that are helpful to others

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Having establish a personal profile and voice befre doing sponsored posts/campaigns because e.g. then most of your followers will know that you only choose products you actually like and not because you’re getting paid

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

As mentioned earlier, I think quality is essential do developing good content that people want to engage with. I actually only post original content because I think it’s more authentic and also more true to me as everyone basically can repost stuff

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the synergy there is between the product and me as a ‘brand’ myself which is why you’re often chosen for a brand collaboration: because you fit the brand and represent their target group. Therefore, I will always collaborate with brands I already like
