Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kim McFadden @kmacpics

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a stay at home mom of three. Ranging 3 to 13 years. However, I am a social butterfly and have made many friendships through Instagram. It gives me my “own world” as a mom when I’m so busy with the day to day. I love it! Such a nice escape. I also have a part time, hobbyist photography business. I am from Utah, near the mountains and I couldn’t imagine not being near these majestic beauties!!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am interested in lifestyle, travel, and foos photography. Only to name a few!! I post seasonal pics, as well as candid shots of everyday happenings. A bit of everything!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My IG name came about from my photography biz, which is Kmacphotography. Also, it’s my first name initial and my husband’s nickname, Mac.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Photo Director, PicsArt, and basic IG editing tools. I usually lighten photos or adjust contrast. I generally only post natural light photos. I love filters. If my photos seem too busy, I will add a white border to simplify a bit.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

So many!! I love @amberfillerupclark @inspiredbycharm @lindos_pelos. The list goes on…..

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Instagram stories. Tons of fun and a great way to show images and videos you don’t necessary want to have in your feed permanently.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Sharing, networking, meeting new people, promoting brands I love so others will love too!! Also, the beautiful photography and how one photo can tell and influence in so many ways!!!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Ask for feedback. Ask for comments. Give the people what they want!! Be positive and always follow up comments.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

You are being represented. You need to show the very best of you. You are your own brand. Be real. Be you. True satisfaction can only be attained from your own work.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Meeting people. Helping to reach others and inspiring others.
