1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi there! I’m Kate Daya from the Philippines. I’m a college student majoring in BS Entrepreneurship.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love anything to do with fashion. My feed is mostly outfits and flatlays!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

katedaya is simply my name. well “kate” is actually a nickname. My real name is Katrina.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use vsco or snapseed. My picture don’t have much filter. I just like to keep it simple yet appealing to the eyes!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I look up to kimcamjones, margaretzhang and savinachai! They are the people who inspire me!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

styling cullotes! They are the most comfortable yet stylish clothing piece I own! They are very versatile when styling them!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Styling new outfit everyday and inspiring others as well! I’m here to bring out the confidence of every girl out there! Overcoming insecurities will definitely help you live a joyful and beautiful life!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keep it real and original! Be the next big thing! Fashion changes overnight so better keep up or start the trend!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and originality are one of the things fashion enthusiasts like me look for. This is where a brand can be known for. Life span of the clothing pieces are the key to make do of what you have and not buying every single time! Quality is very important so purchasing something of quality is a must rather than getting something cheap but does not last you for a year and will not get your money’s worth. A student like me is on a tight budget so making do of what I have and having a capsule wardrobe helps me buy just the essentials. And from there, I am able to style outfits everyday!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Helping the brand flourish and getting plenty of ideas on styling outfits! Just like every brand owner, I know how important marketing strategies are for them. I am an entrepreneur student therefore learning about marketing and advertising is a must!
