1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Indonesian chinese living in Singapore as permanent residents. I quit my career in handicrafts bags & fashion retail industry after got married & conceived my only son 6 years ago, to be a full time mom.
I always miss the authentic Indonesian foods from my hometown, and to satisfy my craving I learned and pick up cooking two years ago. I knew nothing about cooking, but through trial and errors I start to experiment cooking and baking. Just to realised that I’ve found my dream and my passion.. cooking, baking & taking pictures of the dishes that I made is happiness to me.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interest are cooking, baking, food photography and food tasting. Yes I love eating! My Instagram feeds are full of my cooking experiments.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is miss_polkadot.
I love anything Polkadot.. from home appliances, kitchen accessories, mug, dress, bag, shoes.. my belongings are mostly Polkadot.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I used text on photos apps for my photo editing. But the most important thing is the natural light when taking foods pictures.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Yes.. I love the styling of foods photography by delicious magazine UK.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

My signature “lontong dish” famously named ~ Lontong cap goh meh, this dish was created by the community of Indonesian chinese peranakan.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love it as I get to try cooking products, get vouchers or cash incentives
