Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Júlia @juliallobet14

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Júlia and I’m 20. I was born in Barcelona and I’m still living there. I’m studying journalism and when I finish the degree I want to start another one related with advertising. I love sports, specially swimming and motorbikes.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

On Instagram I post my travels, my sports and photos with my friends. I do swimming and enduro and these two sports are the main engagement for my followers.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

juliallobet14 comes from my name + surname and my motorbike number: 14.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Afterlight and VSCO, sometimes when I take selfies I take them using a Iphone’s filter. First I change the brighting and the shades with Afterlight, depending on the photo I add some grain, but not always. I like my photos to be soft, so I try to use soft colours. On VSCO I add the A6 filter and sometimes the B5, so on my feed all my photos look similar.
I also try to not post similar photos in few days, for example last month I was in Amsterdam so I have a lot of photos that are similar. I posted the one I liked the most when I was there but until I post 8-9 photos I won’t post the other ones. This way my feed is not repeating photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow a lot of influencers, my favorite one is gigivives. She keeps the same editing from the beginning and her feed looks really nice. I also like paupalau73, he’s not a influencer but he has really good photos so I get ideas from his instagram. Anyway I never try to copy photos from the other ones, the most of the times I don’t prepare my photos, they just came.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would encourage them to open a parallel account posting vlogs. Most of them are youtubers and they post their daily life on Youtube. That videos are too long, so I think posting videos about your day that don’t take long that a minute would increase the authenticity of these people and also the creativity.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer is the feedback from my followers. I don’t care about the “likes” I get on my photos but I check them to know which kind of photos my followers prefer. So about my Instagram they like the ones I’m doing sports and my travels, so that’s what I’m focused on.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I have 3 top tips:
1- Never accepting brands which I’m not identified with. For me it’s really difficult to be friendly with someone if I don’t agree with them, with brands it happens the same. If you want to keep being yourself you can’t accept collaborations about something you would never use.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Funny photos and artistic editing. This combination describes who I am and that’s what I want to transfer with my Instagram.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Having the chance to meet new people and traveling.
