1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! I’m Julia, a lifestyle and fashion blogger from germany. I’m also studying Multimedia & Communication at the moment.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love to post about fashion & beauty, but I have also a huge addiction to traveling and food.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

juliary is a mixture between “julia” and “diary” 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

First, I love to whiten and detailing my pictures with FACETUNE, after that I’m editing the basics like brightness and contrast with AFTERLIGHT or SNAPSEED. In the end, I use a VSCO filter, most of the time it’s hb1, and post it then.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love carly christman, mikutas, masha sedgwick and angela doe, they are very inspiring!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

good question! when it comes to beauty I love lash serums and a good skincare. futhermore, I’m a huge fan of the bohemian style in summer

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love networking with my community. you can get so much inspiration and help, that’s amazing!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think it’s very important to give some clear advices, so that influencers know exactly, what they have to do, but can be creative as well.
I maintain authenticity in not posting perfect pictures all the time. Sometimes it’s good to wear no make up or not to look super stylish, because your followers should get to know the real you, without all the expensive stuff.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Search for inspiration on instagram, pinterest or we heart it, but never copy something. try to find your own style and way and not try to be like any other instablogger.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love to work with brands, because I love to try new things and find my style more and more. I’m looking for longterm partnerships and a good communication. 🙂
