1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
Howdy I’m josh and I’m born and raised on the rough and unforgiving coast of Vancouver island, Canada. I grew up on a commercial fishing boat and I currently live in a very rural community in a cabin where I grow my own veggies, cut, gather and split my winters worth of firewood, hunt my own meat, and catch my own seafood. Follow me as I continue to live sustainably and meet my community
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I love anything outdoors, I love camping, and hikes but mostly I grow my own food, bake my own bread, gather my eggs from my hens, catch my own fish, cut my own firewood, and hunt my own meat so basically I just take photos of these things as I’m doing them whether I’m up to my elbows in two-stroke, blood, mud or water. She ain’t always pretty but it’s REAL
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
I’m a real fan of westerns anything, and my favourite period in history was the cowboys of the 1860’s and the pioneer age. And since I live out west and rather rustically I thought it fitting
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I try not to edit whatsoever. I understand this is a difficult approach especially when there’s so many folks with flawless photographs posting everyday, but I choose to be real and authentic so what you see is what you get with me
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
@filson1897 @camrindengel @travisgillet are a few of my most inspirational photographers

be authentic
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
The value followers or a brand place in photos about my daily life i take for fun. It’s such a blessing to receive appreciation from people from all over the world of all mind sets and lives
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Encourage your photographers to promote and shoot your products as naturally as possible and in natural settings. Don’t pose with the product, get your hands dirty and use it to its full potential
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Quality over quantity. Refrain from staging or editing your photos. Shoot things your ACTUALLY doing and don’t do things just for a photo. The world is so beautiful and has much to offer, so take advantage of all that natural light, the colours in the sky an don’t artificialy place them there
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Mostly the sense of accomplishment, the pride that comes with a brand loving and reaching out to you
