Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jose @josedits

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hey! I’m a Instagram editor that is doing edits right now at the moment! I do edits that are epic from pictures to videos! And it all started 2 years ago! And I come for puerto rico

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My top things I love are music, photography and editing! Is what I do on my account I do picture edits or video edits! I just shoot pictures and edit! But video edits are more difficult, they’re like edit but that can move and look more realistic! It’s like magic!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I actually had 3 different usernames and on January 1,2016 I officially changed it to Josedits since I wanted to do a user that described me and my feed! Like Jose edits=a editor (get it?)

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Well I take pictures with my canon t6i then I send them to my iPad! I use superimpose it’s a 99cent app in the AppStore! I recommend if you don’t want to spent too much money on a fancy editing software and want to go simple, then superimpose is right for you! Then I also use vsco cam and I actually think it’s an amazing app for filters! It makes my pictures extra cooler and better plus it’s a free app!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love @fetching_tigerss she inspires me to edit and I really hope that one day my edits can be as big as hers! Because she is epic and her work is just amazing it blows my mind!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I really think they should try to edit! It’s very fun and it’s a way to bring creativity to life! But just shooting a couple of pictures and adding effects to it or things to make it cool and just awesome!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is that I can show my followers something that I like and that they should get! I can do it by editing and not just posting a picture like “hey get this product blah blah” I think this is why many people don’t notice when i promo because I do it in a creative way!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To create something epic! And to give better offers maybe not always Money but cool things that can get people’s attention! I maintain if by actually telling people my honest review and not just faking it!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

You should always make your own things because many people work hard on their work! And it’s not fair if someone just steals if or re-creates if just like the orginal work! if you don’t have any inspiration look at pictures and get inspired! go out there and create something that people will love and enjoy!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like that I can do whatever I want and create things for brands! And get paid too! Which is very helpful for me since I do edits that take up hours of my time and I don’t get paid or anything I just post because I love what I do and I rarely get promotions but when I do I go crazy! And create something epic!
