Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jeannie Stringfield @String_fields

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Born & raised in sunny southern California.
Currently living in the beautiful southwest boarder town of El Paso, Texas.
University of Arizona graduate, who met & fell in love with her college sweetheart.
Enthusiastic entrepreneur with a passion and love for visual design & marketing.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post about everything, from local eats, to dressing for your pregnancy, Diy projects, to photos of our home rennovation and our design choices. The one thing that I post the most about is probably, fashion and my favorite current looks that I can’t get enough of, even with this little pregnant belly of mine! My followers love seeing how to dress for the bump and following my pregnancy!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I started my blog in April of this year. This year thus far has been really hectic, we bought a house, began renovation on it, found out we were pregnant, and are having a baby! These were all huge milestones and more than ever I wanted to write to inform people about the things I was learning. I felt such a strong inclination in my heart to write and start a blog. I wanted to start the blog as an outlet; as a means of sharing my experiences as a soon to be mom & a way of documenting the ever fleeting special moments that are just so short lived in this fast pace life. I hope that my new blog will stand to be a great journal to look back upon for our kids (and whoever else that may stumble upon it) of how we lived, how we loved, the adventures we took & the amazing attempts we took at this thing called ‘adult-hood’.

I hope that my readers learn from my experiences, my musings, my frustrations & always remember to always spread joy everywhere they go. That is how my Instagram name came about, my last name is Stringfield and the blog is called “Amongst Stringfields”, which is a great play on words. That being the case, the instagram “@String_fields” was born.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

The app I use the most to edit photos is Aviary. This is the only I app I use actually, I have tons of other apps on my phone but this one, in my opinion is just the most user friendly. I know how to use like the back of my hand. I love airy photos with bright lighting, so the first thing I do to all of my photos is increase the brightness and exposure, from there depending on how I like the photo so far, I may increase the contrast just a bit. Next I increase the vibrance and sharpen the photo if it seems too blurred and then viola! Insta-ready photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are so many Instagrammers I look up to, some of my favorites are: Sandyalamode, thegarciadiaries, lonestarsouthern, white_table, and thejpetite. My favorite instagrammer is thegarciadiaries, I love her photos and she is just so relatable. Most of her images depict images of motherhood and show her day to day and her extremely adorable kids! Its pretty much cuteness overload.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Life is messy, it’s not perfectly colored and cropped like many of the photos you see on instagram. Remember to never compare yourself and your to anyone else, live authentically and know that you are perfect just the way you are.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer, is being able to try out new products and telling my readers what I like about it!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Depending on what kind of campaign you want to run, make sure the directions are clear and there is a great incentive. Since I blog and talk about personal issues and things I go through in the midst of renovation and pregnancy, its easy to maintain authenticity because there is always so much going on to share with my readers and followers. As time goes on and I have my baby, there will only be new challenges that will arise that I can share with my readers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality content is always important in keeping readers and followers engaged. It is important to be as authentic as possible giving relevant insight on new emerging trends with quality images.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love partnering with brands in order to meet new people! I love learning about all the different brands, what they stand for and learning about their different stories. The freebies arent bad either! More than anything I love sharing the things that I love with my followers!
