Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Iris @chiffon.fleur

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a girl living in Southern California who loves kawaii and alternative fashion.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mainly post about clothing from Japan, outfit shots, and cute things in general.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My favorite fashion brand is Angelic Pretty, and a lot of their dresses are made out of chiffon fabric. Since my name is the name of a flower, I chose fleur. Putting my favorite fabric and a cute nickname resulted in chiffon.fleur!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

For fixing lighting and light photo editing, I use Snapseed. For collages, I use photo-grid.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love @pastelbat and @rinrindoll for their amazing outfits, and warm personalities.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Snapseed is a must. There are few mobile photo-editing apps that can rival it, and its improved my photos a lot.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being an influencer is something I enjoy because I love interacting with different brands and showing my followers new products.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I find when I imagine that I’m talking to a close friend, its a lot easier to be authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just remember what makes you unique and special, and people will be drawn to that. Everyone loves authenticity and photos that are relatable.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Trying out different products and clothing is my favorite part. Not only do I get to explore new things, but my followers do too!
