Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Georgette Nicole R. Coronacion @gncoronacion

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m currently a college student who’s taking up BS Medical Technology in University of Santo Tomas. I am from Philippines. Blogging is what I do on my spare time, I know it’s a bit off of my course but I can say that I really love doing it. I like dressing up, posting pictures, doing photoshoots so much that I can imagine myself in my future career as a fashionable doctor.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post pictures of me in different outfits, stuffs I buy and get. I love posting stylish ootds, sometimes I post pictures of me in make up and getting lots of appreciation likes.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Actually it’s from my name, I like it that way because it’s unique and people will know me from that. gncoronacion– g is for georgette, n is for nicole and coronacion is my last name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use picsart, vscocam and sometimes I just use the editing tool on iphone. Instagram filters can be an option for me too!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Laureen Uy, Kim Jones inspires me when it comes to style because they are remarkable. There are some instagrammers who also inspired me, specially those who started from scratch and now they’re on their full bloom in instagram like Kim Cruz and other aspiring bloggers.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try the boomerang app!! It’s so much fun plus it’s eye catching to people.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

What I really like about being an influencer is that I get to tell people things that could help them. Like for example, I did a blogpost about how to prepare for entrance examination in different universities for college and I enumerated tips there on what are the dos and don’ts. I also did a blogpost about me being shy before and how I overcome that shyness in order for me to do blogging because I really want to blog and post things. I like expressing myself because I think others can look up to me and be inspired to be just who they are and to keep continuing what they love to do as long as they are not affecting others in a bad way. I felt so happy when I received an email from an anon telling me that I serve as an inspiration to many and that I should continue what I’m doing despite what other people says. I felt so much appreciated and I love it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be real and try to reach people with their campaigns. Personally, as a consumer I feel like it’s best if brands put something in their campaigns that can touch people because it’s more appealing and feels genuine and authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think it’s important to always mind the concept because someone might already have the same thing and it may cause trouble. Quality and originality is equally important because this will keep things rolling and it will be “the mark” of the brand itself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like getting free stuffs!! Of course, who wouldn’t want that? But jokes aside, what I like about partnering with brands is that I get a chance to know what a brand is really about, what is the brand story and it lets me discover things that I didn’t know before.
