Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Fizz Oladiran @Fizzlvd

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Fizz Oladiran. I am from Toronto, Ontario and i am a professional dancer/dance teacher, choreographer as well as an actor and writer.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fashion, music and dance. So on instagram, i usually post dance videos of myself and my team performing, or clips of my classes, as well as some pictures of some outfits that i loved wearing.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name fizzlvd used to be my facebook name. Fizz is my first name and the Lvd stands for 3 latin words. Laboro Vinco Ducere which mean, Work, Win, and Teach.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

If i ever edit, i use photoshop or I keep it simple with the instagram photo editor.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@aarxnscott and @joshcezar because they both take great photographs and knowing them personally, i can see that there is no difference from who they are in real life to who they are on instagram. Their authenticity is very key.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would say try checking out some accounts that may seem out of your usual interests. What you may find might end up inspiring you a lot more than anything in your current interests that you are already accustomed to. Branch out and grow.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to help show and give people the tools to help them become what they want to be whether it be an influencer or not.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I say by doing something mutually beneficial for the target audience to get them to participate. Almost like a give away. That is one of the best ideas to getting your brand to gain a following. Also keeping in mind not to spam content because it only becomes annoying to people that have to see it over and over.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content is important because it is your account. There would be no point in copying someone else, since that would just take away from who you really are.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

You get to try new merchandise while at the same time helping the brand get publicity.
