1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I’m Femke, a Belgian photographer & graphic designer… a multi-passionate creative, really. I’m also a feel good lifestyle blogger & the co-founder of @hellosunshine.be, a Belgian lifestyle platform by & for creative women. Aside of that, I’m a DIY-freak & party decorator. (for all of my bestest friends!)

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

creativity – inspiration – lifestyle – happiness – photography – design – health/balance

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It are the first three letters of my first + last name, since I don’t have a very international pronounceable name! 😉

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use different apps, so it varies with each picture. I mostly use ‘A color Story’ or ‘Faded’. I also pre-edit a lot of the photos on my computer in Photoshop, since it’s my job. (when I do photoshoots)

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are so many! @galadarling is one of the first I started the follow, she brightens up my day @carlyrowena is one of my fav youtubers. Love her positivity @inkspireddesignstudio is somebody I know and love her graphic design work @kim_interiordesign is one of my closest friends, very minimal, clean and loves scandinavian design @mimiikonn Ever so positive and awesome vacay shots @tiffanypratt Because… COLOR!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Put more time and effort in bonding with your followers, you’d be amazed how much you have in common!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Inspiring one another & getting to know new people. Sharing our creative juices.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just be your authentic self, don’t try to be like that one succesful hipster person. There will be people out there who love you just the way you are.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Don’t settle for mediocrity. Only share the things you’re a 100% proud of! Don’t be afraid to switch things up and try new things. Variety is key!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The creative process and working together with people who have a different point of view.
