Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Federica Raffo @fedazure

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Federica, I come from Italy and I’m 22. I graduated in Communication Studies three months ago and now I completely find myself in that period of everyone’s life when it feels like the future is just a massive question mark. I decided to take the control of my life and make a huge decision: moving to UK. Yes, because during my year abroad in Leeds (UK) last year I met a beautiful ginger man who is now my boyfriend. I moved here to live my life of adventures with him by my side, in the meantime trying to find my path. The thing I’m most sure about is that I love taking pictures of the places I visit, the things I do and eat and sharing stories about them, because everybody likes a good story.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love taking pictures of places in general, of my adventures around the world, of nice things that catch my eyes and have a story to tell.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Fedazure is just a fusion between my name Federica and Azure, a song I was obsessed with few months ago.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I mostly use Snapseed for tuning my images and then VSCO cam for filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The photo editing app A color story, perfect if you seek for fresh photos, bright whites, and colors that pop

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I really like thinking that my followers could learn something new everyday about the world around us. Doesn’t matter if they’re little things, small unknown towns or shops, everything has a beautiful story to tell.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Telling a story is the most important thing right now, giving people something they can really feel part of and identify themself with. Be real, authentic and close to people.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I guess it’s very important to recognize the trends and try to follow them but in your own way, with a specific visual mark than only you can have or only you are famous for and people recognize you for.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the idea of reinventing brand’s products or services in my own way, giving to them my personal touch and making them mine in a way. It’s nice to think you can combine a watch made in Finland with an italian landscape in same photos. The results of these matches can be very inspiring.
