Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Faith @Faithsphotography_

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Right now im struggling through the never ending mountain also known as highschool. I’m currently senior. I’m an expat, I’m an American living in the Middle East. it has its ups and downs but for the most part I do enjoy it. The lifestyle is really comfortable and just easy in general. I live in Kuwait, it’s the tiny country under Iraq and next to Saudi Arabia. Kuwait is runned by fashion and booming businesses. I go to an international school here which is cool becuase I get to see a lot of different people.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I enjoy photography, graphic design, and fashion. I also have an interest in business and politics
My Instagram is based on the pictures I take so it usually consists of little snapshots of my adventures in the desert

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well it’s pretty boring actually, it’s just my name and the word photography attached to it. I kinda wish I came up with a cool name but I guess this one will do for now

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use photoshop as it allows me to control every aspect of the picture. I like being able to change everything to my liking. I’m kind of a perfectionist. Sometimes if I took the picture using my iPhone then I will use vsco cam or muse cam, they’re both really cool apps

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I enjoy feature accounts becuase they allow me to discover new cool photographers. I also really like travel instagrams that feature different places. I get inspired by nature, Feelings, experiences or movies sometimes

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think we should try taking Instagram a little bit easier and stop stressing over it so much. But if you’re talking about a material than one of those little attachable lenses for iPhones are great becuase I don’t always have my camera on hand plus my phone is easier to carry and more practicle.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Well I don’t know if I consider myself an influencer, I more so think of myself as a story teller. I love being able to show people what life is like the Middle East from the standpoint of an “outsider” to show people that theres life and beauty outside of the United States and Europe. To help shine some light on things that people tend to over look.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think that brands should have to be complete sincere and honest about what they are campaigning becuase that’s the only way to have complete satisfaction from customers. I think the key to maintaining authenticity is to put yourself in the consumers place, people are spending their hard earned money and they expect the product to perform how it is promised to.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

All content that you produce should be original. Don’t mistake inspiration from plagiarism. You want your work to reflect upon yourself so only put out what you Truley believe is the best work you are capable of.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I think partnering with brands is great. When done right it should benefit the consumers, the promoters and the brand itself. However the brand and promoters should be a 100% honest. Partnerning with brands allows you to expand your creativity level which I think is awesome!
