Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Enrique Laiño @Enrique_lai

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from The Canary Islands, but I’m actually living in Madrid (the capital of Spain) because here’s where my University is (I’m studying Teaching).

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post pics about my outfits or maybe something I like (maybe landscapes, some food, some products I bought and I really like…). I’d like to be more focused on fashion and lifestyle.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My IG account name came just because I wanted to have both my name and surname on it with a separation between them. As a character is only understood in Spanish (ñ), I decided to leave it just as “lai”.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always use VSCOcam and Facetune, and sometimes I use iPhone effects and Snapseed.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

A watches brand (BOIR Time), because it’s a low-cost watches brand really stylish and I really love them.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

What I like the most is trying new stuff, feeling like others follow you because you have something to share…

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be original, find inspiration anywhere, follow a theme/topic…

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s important to have an eye on others, but you have to be original because that’s what lasts in others mind. Also, you have to share quality content because between something attractive and something kind of simple you’ll always choose what draws your attention.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The idea of trying brand new products or something I really like. I mean: if there’s something I like and I can share it with others so that they can try it, that’s great! Also, the idea of have some stuff for free is good for me.
