1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is Elisabeth Holmes, I reside in Utah, USA, but I’m a native New Yawka. I’m a 50 yo mother of 2 adult children of whom I’m proud of. One’s a soldier, the other an RN BSN (just had to brag a bit?) I put my whole being into being a mom and had no idea what to do with my time or even what my identity was. And then I found it in beauty & makeup. I love experimenting and getting familiar with all makeup so I can help others find what they need and choose what works for them and saving them money by identifying those products that don’t deliver.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

As stated above anything make and beauty related from cosmetics to skincare…but mostly I post pics of my makeup collection. I love finding just they right angle and lighting that makes the product look desirable

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I graduated high school back in 1984, when we always said something was bodacious, meaning awesome, added beauty for obvious reasons and babes to complete the alliteration.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I only use the basic instagram editing tools. I don’t like to alter my pics much, just tweak it so it can be seen well.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I actually don’t have a favorite and I’ve never really looked into the “bigger” gurus. I want to stay original and try to avoid influence and ideas of others. I found myself overwhelmed when looking at other accounts for influence in the beginning. So I decided I’d create my page organically.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think they should try Skindinavia bridal spray finishing and primers. They literally weather proof your face…it’s like climate control for the face and reduces sweating by having a cooling effect on the skin without tiling like mint… it’s really amazing and makes my makeup stay fresh longer.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meeting new people is one of the best perks of being an influencer.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Make it memorable. Present it in a fun way without overselling.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

You only have one chance to make a first impression so put the best foot forward. People can read between the lines and if there’s any inauthenticity they will see it and be turned off. Also, if content lacks originality then people will not rely on your source because they can go to the source and won’t need you for new information.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I absolutely love the creative part of it. I love coming up with great ideas for product improvement as well as how best to market a product. I do it for 2 different companies right now and am absolutely in love with the whole process.
