Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Elena @savoir_vivre_1

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, my name is Elena. I am 31 years old. I am originally Ukrainian, based in Belgium.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

nstagram and visual creativity has become my passion since about 2 years ago. Since then I have build up my audience base of 23,800 people. Visual content is my main tool of self-expression in the blog. Photos and short videos promote artistic aesthetics, movie-like style, classical elegance and harmonious beauty of a person and the World. I refer to luxury in it’s classical meaning. And I also refer to a sort of luxury in a way that everyone could make up in his life by just having a wright attitude, taking time and seeing things around, such as sunsets or good music or having good family or friends time, these are real luxuries in life, I believe.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

And so the name of my blog «savoir vivre» as French expression «to know how to live». As I really feel I have found that golden mean for myself and could share the attitude with others.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I mostly use Snapseed and VSCO There are also nice aps such as Afterlight and MIX by Camera 360. Those are my favorites. I usually begin with Snapseed correcting different little faults and imperfections and tuning an image. Then I go to VSCO/Afterlight/MIX and apply one or few filters combined together in order to add some extra atmosphere and emotion to an image. That’s it! Photo is ready to post:-)

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I guess I could say that @kat_in_nyc is my longtime inspiration. Also I like @negin_mirsalehi and @lenaperminova.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like that Instagram gives me an opportunity to express my vision about style, photography, attitude towards life. And by sharing my visions and thoughts on IG I become sort of an inspiration source for other people. That is most valuable for me.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tip is to find the golden mean between being real and being commercial. I maintain my authenticity by not being afraid of changes and always listening to that inner voice:-)

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think quality as well as authenticity of content create a unique exposure and attracts potential customers for a business.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like merging two authenticities, one of a brand and mine and it leads to creation of something new and special.
