Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Efrain @efra555

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am an 18 year old full time British tennis player, I am originally from Venezuela South America (so struggling with the English weather!!) I have just finished A level Studies and currently taking a gap year to focus on my tennis. Instagram for me is a way of showing my tennis journey and influencing, inspiring people to pick up a racquet and reach their maximum potential!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Tennis and fitness, this is mainly what my Instagram account is filled with, I don’t think this will change in the future.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My username is efra555, Efra is the nickname everyone has called me since I was a kid. The first ‘5’ is a constant reminder of the date in which my family and I arrived to England it was the 5th of July. The second ‘5’ represents the number of the most important people in my life and the last 5 had to be added because apparently there is another efra55 out there !

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I actually don’t use any apps to edit my photos, they are all edited with Instagram itself and mainly my laptops default picture editor. The pictures are all taken with the Nikon D-500 they seriously come out clearer than my eyes!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My main inspiration is ‘jcelite14’ firstly because is a mentor to me and one of my coaches.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The idea of being able to ‘influence’ other people to take action and hopefully inspiring them in the process is a dream idea. Also the interaction with the online audience is priceless, is crazy to think you can literally reach people all over the world thanks to the power of Instagram.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Understanding and consistently interacting with the targeted audience can help run campaigns, so that some sort of relationship and trust is built leading to a greater number of costumers following through with purchases from the brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and originality are part of the success formula, firstly the originality of the content is what brings attention and engages the audience meaning that it is a must! lastly the quality dictates further purchases from the audience and it can even aid the process of building a relationship with the desired audience.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Firstly that I get to become part of team with ambitious goals willing to do whatever it takes to achieve them, by surrounding myself with brands and people as such personal and team success is bound to happen, success is contagious, being around successful, passionate and ambitious brands is a pre-requisite of success.
