Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Effy Roxane @effy roxane

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I was born and raised in Mizoram, Aizawl, India. I’m just done with my Master’s degree in one of the best Universities in India; Tezpur University. Currently, I am in my hometown and collaborate with brands from Mizoram.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashions, makeup, lifestyle, etc.
I would say all the girly stuff. Also, my secret goal is to travel the world and share travel diaries with my followers too.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

This is actually a bit funny. Effy is my nickname ever since I was young and ‘Roxane’ comes from my (ex) boyfriend, I had come up with this idea that we had to give each other names and then he came up with this. Since that day my username in social media never changed.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Yes! I usually use Lightroom and Snapseed and sometimes VSCO to edit my photos.
I love this question, so many people have asked me this and I always got excited whenever they asked because I am really into editing my photos and I have my own ways too.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Taramilktea and Hangtw.
They both are influencers and both are Asian if I am not wrong. As an Asian, being able to achieve in becoming one of the top influencers, it shows that they are dedicated to their jobs and they make it look like their job is fun as well.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is to introduce good brands and products to my audience and when they found out those because of me, that means I am a blessing in some parts. That makes me really happy.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I am new to StarNgage but as I have read their descriptions so far, I am really excited to become a part of this. I have seen that they give importance and give their best to help influencers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

We should know what exactly we are doing and whom we are doing for.
To be ourselves and be honest with our audience and in that way, we will gain trust from them. Everyone has his/her own strengths, we need to find out that and become more engaged in that part.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

If you have a style, vibe, quality on your own, people will believe in you.
To stay true to yourself and have your own style or originality.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best part is the way that we help each other in different ways. Brands have given me jobs and in return, their products are being seen by my followers and as a result, their sales have been increased.
