1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I’ve recently created my own Photography business. I take Landscape, Nightscape, Music, Travel/lifestyle, and Portrait photos. I live in Perth, Western Australia, by the beach.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
My main goal in every photo i take is to capture the moment properly, so that when i look back on it (or when someone views it) they can see what i saw, feel what i felt. This can be anything from the glimmer of happiness in a subject’s eye while doing a portrait, or that sense of wonder when capturing a shooting star in an image. I usually post Travel/Landscape, and Portraits on Instagram.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
It’s nothing exciting, just my name haha.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I only use Adobe Lightroom to edit my photos. I built my own presets off of one of the VSCO presets on there. So after importing my photos into Lightroom, I apply one of my presets, and then just tweak them according to each photo, and then export!
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
Oh man, there are so many Instagrammers that are ridiculously good. @Andrewtkearns @mrbenbrown @jarradseng @sarahkierstead @craighowes @alexstrohl @forrestmankins @samuelelkins @jasoncharleshill @helloemilie @gypsealust. Just a few of my favourites, but there are many more! They all inspire me so much everyday, in so many different ways and for different reasons. I don’t think i could pick one that inspires me the most though. They’re all great.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Something new! Do something you haven’t done before, explore someplace, venture somewhere different, try experience something that you have never, or would never do!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
I just really enjoy connecting with people, especially like-minded people. That would definitely be my favourite part.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Stay true to your values, don’t over do it, otherwise it will push people away. If people are interested they will check it out, but if you pressure them to do it, it will most likely push them away.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
I think it is incredibly important to keep producing good quality, original content. Because it will inspire you to continue to do so, but it will also inspire others around you to do the same, which will inspire you right back and so on…
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Being able to communicate with a brand that produce something i like or am interested in, and to be able to connect with that brand, is easily my favourite part. It’s awesome.
