Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Dimag Ozgum @VacationWolf

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a 24 year old entrepreneur, world traveler and digital influencer. Currently, I am traveling the world to create content for my own brand and for brands I collaborate with. I was born in the Island of Cyprus, grew up in London and lived in Barcelona, Taipei and San Francisco before. Travel has become my life lately and I found myself traveling to 80+ countries at a very young age, thanks to my family, girlfriend and friends. Everyone around me loves traveling now:)

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My main focus is travel. I mostly post about amazing travel destinations that I know. I like to share my travel knowledge with everyone. I think the more we travel, the better the world will become.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It all started in Barcelona when we were traveling with friends and we kept saying this is the wolf life we live. At nights we were Auuuing like wolves before we sleep for jokes can you believe it? Then, we moved to Taipei and we started an instagram page with my mate to share our travel adventures and we called it @wolflifestyleofficial.:)) It was for fun, we never thought it would get big. Then, I met an investor after we moved to San Francisco and he liked what I was doing with my instagram page. We decided to call it @vacationwolf together:) and it stayed as @vacationwolf until today. My personal account is @dimagetsaway, that’s where I share my own photography.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Lightroom and photoshop if I need to!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My buddy @kyrenian is one of my top inspirations. He is the one who showed me the way and he has the best photos here on Instagram. He was actually chosen as the Photographer of the year by Travel and Leisure:)

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Book a flight with your loved one or friends and figure out the rest once you get there! Let the magic of the universe take care of the rest!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

It’s always about the people. The talented people I get to speak everyday is what keeps me awake. Also, free travels and having reach all around the world. It is really a sort of freedom. Maybe. Well, minus the hard work. really really hard work. People only see the great content and that might not be the complete reality! However, hard work is what I enjoy:) We do not get to do crazy fun things every day, but I am the happiest person ever inside me I am very calm and life feels like a big holiday that way. I believe everything will work out well and it has been perfect until now! It’s all about the energy!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be Patient, Be consistent, Create unique content, work with the right influencers, once you find the right ones build long term relationships. Influencers hold the keys of communities. Run giveaways, always give back to your community. Work with persons, send your products to them to review you!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Produce quality and original content to stand out from the crowd. Spend good time on your work do not hurry. Every one needs some time to get better in producing. So, keep producing to master it! Bring your own personality and approach to it, and put more of yourself in it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love to create and creating for brands that I believe in is a pleasure of me. I like to meet the people involved and create some magic together. It’s always fun! We come together, brainstorm, and create cool stuff!
