Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Diane Loresca @dianeloresca

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Diane Loresca from Philippines. 17 years of age and I’m currently studying and taking up STEM in my senior high school.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post all about fashion, food, and travel in my Instagram because those are the things that I like.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I didn’t put much effort on my Instagram name because I just simply used my name. I want everyone to know who is behind that Instagram account.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

First I use Snapseed to adjust some lightings and transfer the edited picture on VSCO to add some filters that will pefectly match on the photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like fashion and travel bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, and Patricia Prieto.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They should try the editing apps that I use so they will have a nice outcome of photos.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I can share my thoughts, ideas, and advices on certain things. I can share what experiences that I encountered in my journey so they could try it too. I can interact with them and act as like we’ve known each other for the past years. And I can influence them to be a good role model to everyone.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Check the authenticity of the brand. Never fall for their traps like giving you good opportunity that will boost your career. Check if that certain business is legit and producing good quality of products so you can confidently showcase the product without hesitation. Read their feedbacks and visit their websites to know more information about the brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Post a good quality of picture because a low quality one is not pleasant to the eyes. A blur or pixelated picture is not good. Make sure you post the things that you’ve personally took and never get anyone’s work or else you’ll be sue for plagiarism. If you want to post a picture that is not yours, put a credits to the rightful owner of the picture to show some respect.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Partnering with different brands is a a give and take relationship because they will give me their products for free and for me in order to compensate it I will give feedbacks by posting that product to my social media accounts and in my blog. I will encourage my fellow instagram users to try that product and if they like it they will buy that product in result the brand will earn. I can also help my followers to have a discount code because I will provide them that, if and only if, that certain brand will give a discount.
