Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Cindi Chong Xin Yi @tippyroses

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, my name is Cindi and I’m currently 18 years of age. Right now, I’m pursuing my diploma in Accountancy at a private institute, Kaplan.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I would say it’ll be about fashion. On my instagram, most of the picture are featuring about my outfits. I like dressing up and the people I followed on my instagram are all fashionistas as I hope someday, I can use my outfit ideas to influence people out there.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name doesn’t really have a story behind it, but because when I first created this account, I wanted a name which can sounds quirky and fun at the same time and which is able to allow people to remember it easily so I just came out with it.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I’m using 3 different types of apps to edit my photos one namely, VSCO which is quite common to everybody and another one would be the YouCam Perfect then lastly, which is called the SnapSeed. So, basically when I’ve got a photo to edit, I’ll use VSCO first to edit the colors of my photos that is more towards filter (Contrast, temperature etc) Next, after I’m done with the contrasting and all, I’ll use YouCamm Perfect to edit the brightness of my face. As, this app only focuses on the face, so it pretty much satisfied it. Lastly,

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I have quite a number of famous instagrammers that I really admire, which is bellywellyjelly, tippytoes, naomineo, imjennim and many more. I would say Naomi Neo is the instagrammer which inspires me the most, this is because I’ve been watching her videos since she started on YouTube, following on every of her social media to keep track of what’s been up to. and also reading up on her blog. She started out as just a normal person like us, tilll date she have became Singapore’s Top Lifestyle Influencer and clearly, it wasn’t an easy route for her and yet, she manged to pull her up to being successful.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

It’s gonna be trying out the things which I will be talking about!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is not only being able to better help my clients on the quality of product itself but also, engaging with them to share more about it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Firstly to set my goals by outlining wht I want the campaign to accomplish and also finding my focus and indentifying how my social campaign can help me to achieve m y business goals. Secondly, by engaging with my audience. Always making an effort to comment on all positive submissions as by doing so, it helps to validate my social presence and humanize m y brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It would be making sure that the content that i releases is worth the time for my visitors to invest ion absorbing it, if it isn’t, then they’re unlikely to follow me and to get my message out there to inspire more people out there,

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to talk about things that I fancy and also inspiring/influencing people’s decision in a positive way.
