Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Chyl Robinson @chyl.robinson

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Chyl pronounced “Kyle” last name Robinson. I’m from a well known city called Sunny Side San Diego. I’m in the process of becoming a flight attendant and building my blogging business on the side. I’m extremely passionate about fashion, fitness, and traveling that’s where my blogging came into play. I love inspiring others, while inspiring myself as well.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have quite a few, but my main topics of interest are fashion, fitness, traveling and sports. I post fashion, fitness, travel, and my overall lifestyle.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It was faithfashionking619 when i first started out, faith because I’m a believer in God/jesus, fashion because I’m passionate about fashion and 619 is the area code for San Diego but after awhile i wanted to brand my birth name so now its chyl.robinson.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use the lightroom by adobe app and sometimes i use the facetune app.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Kombucha energy drink is a must try. I’m big on living a healthy lifestyle but we all need energy to get threw our days i say try one of those if you haven’t, clean energy is the best energy.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is simply expressing myself and showing people who I really am. I love inspiring myself while inspiring others all at the same time.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I personally don’t have any tips on running campaigns, I’ve never personally ran one. But a tip: make it affordable, and how to maintain authenticity: don’t try to please everyone because that’s impossible. Stick to your ideas but at same time be open minded. But stick to whatever is going on in your own head for the most part because at the end of the day its your brand and your vision.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s very important you want people to take you seriously. Details matter so you want to be picky on what you post if your building a potential business and just be you, be inspired by others but at the end of the day let people see you.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the relationships you build with the actual people. It’s not all business for me i want it to be a fun experience plus getting some work done at the same time.
