Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Christina Adams @Christnaadams

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Well, I am a high school student who is trying to discover herself. I want to get to know more about not only myself but the world around me. Right now I also play club volleyball in Florida.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post about clothing, accessories, architecture, nature, my friends, and occasionally myself.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well over the years my instagram has gone through lots of different stages, like any teen’s would. It went from all of the underscores and “x’s” to what I have today, christnaadams. I would like for it to be my full name but I have to take out the second i because my full name was not avaliable.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

The only app I really use to edit my photos is VSCO. I find that they have a very diverse editing application and they allow me to really customize my photos. A picture always stats out by getting the same filter and from there I adjust the sharpness, highlights and lowlights, as well as the exposure to get a perfect picture.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Right now some of my favorites are deaddsouls, because her feed is very clean yet colorful which is something I am slowly striving to achieve. Also thatsotee because of her diversity in pictures yet still maintaing a theme and chantal_le because I love her black and white theme!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think everyone should try doing something outside the box. A lot of people try to stick to what they know and are comfortable in but sometimes going outside your comfort zone is what makes great experiences.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love connecting with other Influencers and sharing a small but extensive connection. I also enjoy getting to work with smaller brands and helping them get their work out into the vast world.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To just be themselves and to not try to make something to appeal to everyone because then you get fake people in it only for the money. When you have a unique product you need to find someone equally as unique to match your creativity level and to help spread your product even more.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think having great quality content is so important because that is what makes people want to click on or buy something. People like to look at something crisp and clean not blurry or grainy. That is the same with original content, people what to find someone who thinks outside the box and doesn’t do every tea collaboration they get.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

My favorite thing about partnering with brands is that you get to know more about that particular store or company and you get a very raw relationship. They aren’t trying to be fake, they just want to grow just like you.
