1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I am from the Philippines. I am 20 years old. I am a 4th year university student and my major is Psychology. During my free time, I like reading books, playing instruments, taking photos, watching and uploading YouTube videos and blogging. You can go check my blog here: http://www.ronacelina.blogspot.com to see for yourself.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I’m so random and I like taking photos and blogging about everything. For example, I can go from makeup and fashion to food and travel to anything about my random life.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
I was trying to come up with a cool and catchy username by just using my name itself so that my friends and other people can easily recognize me at the same time remember the username easily. So now I got “ronacelina” from my very own name Celine Rona.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I just use VSCO and PicsArt. As I’ve said, I’m so random so I always change my routine but I like my photos dark, a bit unsaturated and contrasted. So what I do is choose a filter then adjust the levels of those elements.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I like Ida Anduyan’s and JP De Leon’s feeds the most although they have totally different styles. Ida is more of the hippie type while JP is a minimalist.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
They have to try StarNgage! It seems really fun!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part is when people tell me that they really like my ideas and recommendations to the point that they’re going to try them. It makes me feel light-hearted that I’m able to help them by just incorporating those ideas with them.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
I think some of the top tips are offer benefits and promote their bloggers. If they do that, it will be a win-win situation since in that way, the bloggers won’t feel bad doing fake reviews for brands for the sake of the brands only because they won’t be doing fake reviews at all! So to maintain authenticity, the brands must really offer good deals to the bloggers by giving quality products and promoting the bloggers so that they would also get good reviews in return.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Nobody is interested in reading old news, right? So if brands and influencers want to keep their audience interested in them, they should avoid creating something that is too similar to what has already been created by others or else, they will gradually lose their fans and then their content will be ignored and created for nothing.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Honestly, I haven’t really experienced partnering with brands but if given the chance, I would, in no doubt, grab that chance. Although just by observing some of the vloggers I know who are already partners with some brands, I think what I’d like about it is learning about the certain products that a certain brand offers. Then once I learned about those products and liked them, I can recommend and introduce them to other people so that I can help them make their lives easier or simple make them happy with whatever that certain product offers.
