Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Billy @itsbillysuryadilaga

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Billy Surya Dilaga, I’m a musician and currently have 3 studio albums. I was born and raised in Yogyakarta but currently live in Jakarta. Beside focus on music, I am also making an audio podcast that talks about my personal life and some tips. Currently, I also have NFT project called Billy Bears.Co which focused on connecting people around the world,

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m interested in music and some creative art. Usually, I’m doing the usual post such as studio photoshoot and some selfies. When I have a new music, I usually do posts such as a music video, lyric cards, audio teaser, and more about.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Since I created my Instagram account, it was just changed 2 times. That’s just about my birth name with adding “its” because my name was not available to use.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually edit all my photos using iPhone app such as Snapseed, VSCO, and lastly Adobe Lightroom. I’m using Snapseed to increase ambience, contrast, and brightness (sometimes removing bad object if needed). Adobe Lightroom I used for removing some color or usually called “HSL”, and the last I’m adding some filter or tone using VSCO.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I liked Justin Bieber post because he usually does posts such as random thing, but it was looking aesthetic enough. Sometimes I also imitated his photo style too.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being an influencer such as a blessing because you could have or help people in a good way and share them about the good things. So I guess it will give some kind of positive impact and inspires them.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I never be a part of StarNgage campaign so far, but I will if there’s any opportunities.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Choose the right influencer which is actually the important thing. Not just having new relationship, but you need to know what the influencer do about, if its fit with your brand it will be awesome. You also need to make sure that those influencers are real, I mean they didn’t buy any followers or like or even engagements in a post.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s about who you are and what you do. Don’t be someone to be liked, people will love to see a real person with real personality. In social media, quality is the most important thing, that’s why we need to learn to make a great content with patience and consistency. Note that everyone are inspiration for us.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It could have new more friends, and build new relationship which is important nowadays.
