1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi all! I come from Seremban and have graduated in Bachelor of Psychology a year ago. Had plans in furthering my studies but it was on a pause. I had ventured into the world of e-commerce and blogging ever since! I do not post constantly in my blog but I just love to blog in my space as well as micro-blog in Instagram. It is mostly about food, travel, skincare and games (especially Android games)! Once in a while the posts may be of important people & pets. It feels nice to share with family and friends who are just far from me…like a notification site for them if they want to know what I am up to. It also serves as a preservation of memory. Some are just my personal thoughts/rating of services and food. Comments that I usually get: “Are you done?” “Okay?” “Enough already lo….” It is because I MUST take several angles & multiple shots for a food, item, or even my ootd/selfies for review purposes or when the mood is right! In short, I am an introvert on the outside but a more “talkative” person in my social platforms. Have a visit there! ???

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

A mix of everything! But I think mostly it involves food & scenery. Update on new blogs when I have new post, and hangout pics or ootds when I am feeling good.
I am not a good cook nor a food critic but I prioritize freshness & taste, follow by presentation. Born a Malaysian, it is definitely a blessing to be able to eat a variety of food on a daily basis ! ???

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Actually it is just my first name plus the initial of my surname. I would like people to know me for my name and not just some english name. To be honest, I have been searching high and low for a suitable english name. I just cannot seem to find the right one. So I gave up and learnt to accept that my name may sound like a boy but that’s the name I was given so just be good and be proud of it. ?

Fashion- heyitsannabanana & extrapetite & songofstyle
Lifestyle etc- itsbubz &weylie
Itsbubz is my ultimate instagrammer and youtuber inspiration coz she is so down to earth and honest when she reviews stuff and I can relate to the topics and pics she posted on.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

If you have never tried gel mani, go try!
Most importantly, the must eat place in Hong Kong I recommend to try is Seorae Galmegi ?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I guess it is to share deals & reviews to your friends and readers. For example, readers would like to know the effectiveness of certain collagen product and etc, so i try and post a review about it. I also can take the opportunity to bring about awareness on health-related topic. It is also a positive surprise when my friends tell me they read my blog and give comments to improve.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think it is important to be transparent and honest to influencers and what the readers will get. Sometimes what is offered to the influencer may not be what’s offered to the readers. Feedback of influencer should not be controlled as long as they mention stuff like good or bad and whether they will recommend it to their readers is good enough in my opinion. Nonetheless, pr should still respond to queries even after the influencer has done his/her job.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be precise where necessary.
Explore different styles and method.
Choose which you like and never (if possible) copy&paste.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to see & try the items and share the news before it is launched and also share a bit in my thoughts of the product. Meeting new people and making friends is also one of the best thing!
