Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Beatriz Juliano @beajuliano

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Beatriz, currently an 18 year old fashion student and student journalist from the Philippines. I am an aspiring fashion stylist.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

As mentioned, I am a fashion student so I enjoy doing outfit posts on Instagram. Aside from this, I like to spend time travelling and writing.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nickname is Bea, and basically my last name is Juliano.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Afterlight and VSCO are my favorite editing apps. I usually adjust the exposure and play on the contrast and that’s it. I’m not a fan of filtered photos but I am considering it.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love @blaireadiebee! She’s a fashion blogger and you can really tell her personality by the way she dresses up.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Stand out and don’t let others define you 😉

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I don’t consider myself as an influencer, but being on Instagram, I like to post my outfits in order to express my personality.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Less control, allow creativity. In order to maintain authenticity, work with brands you are aware of and brands that are interesting and new.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I personally like to read articles or blogpost that aren’t too long and redundant. I enjoy and most people enjoy short but structured articles.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Aside from the material benefits, it’s emotionally fulfilling.
