1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! My name is Ashley and I am freelance makeup artist. I work in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. My work has been published in Prolific Quarterly magazine and also on Bikini Crush Swimwear’s ad campaign.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Makeup and beauty products.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I chose my name because everyone has always complimented me on my long eyelashes, so the name Ashwithlash just seemed to fit! I added the “mua” at the end for Makeup Artistry abbreviation.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t edit my photos a lot of the time. I try to use natural lighting to get the best picture. But when I do edit, I use Facetune, Airbrush or Camera + to get the perfect light on my picture.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I absolutely adore Ssssamantha and Kilprity for their makeup artistry skills. I also really like Jaclyn Hill.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Anything from the Kiehl’s skincare line, or Lush products. They are absolutely incredible!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I enjoy hearing others opinions on what products they enjoy, so I would like to do the same for others. I am constantly buying and trying new things to help clients with their choices. I like being able to help!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just be genuine. Don’t oversell yourself, or try too hard. Keep it simple, yet stunning.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is THE MOST important thing! Having original contents keeps you authentic and desirable to follow by consumers.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
