1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I have been snowboarding since as long as I can remember… Right after graduating high school in Boise, Idaho I traveled around the state of Colorado looking for where I would continue my education. One day I received a job opportunity to become a ticket scanner out in Breckenridge, CO at the Ski Resort there. With a newly-found opportunity to start my next adventure, and move away from my home town, I decided to pack up my stuff and move out to Breckenridge to spend the Winter working at the resort, and fulfilling my passion of snowboarding. After a couple of years in the ski industry, I took a few community college courses to please my parents, since I had decided not to go to a big university. The most rewarding class? Digital Photography… I learned how to use a DSLR and took off! 5 years later, and I have been making a living for myself through my Freelance Digital Artwork. If you would have asked me as the 18 year old self I was when I first moved to Breckenridge, never in my wildest dreams would have I thought I would be able to support myself off of my artwork.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love photography, time lapsing, cinematography, graphic design, and many other areas of art. I try to let me creative juices pour through whatever medium I have in front of me. My passion has been in Night Time Photography, and in capturing the beautiful mountainous landscapes around me. I would love to be able to travel and provide my unique style of art for tourism offices of travel destinations around the globe.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Arthur Balluff = @ArtBalla = @ArtBalla.Photo

Nickname I’ve had since I was a kid.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use a handful of programs when working on my final products.
Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Star Stacking Software, ETC..

Cinemagraphs are fun!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love the fact that I’m able to get feedback directly from fans, and judge / adapt to people’s reactions!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

There needs to be very subtle & strategic product placement.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s very important to keep things original, fresh, and new…

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the fact that I can work with brands to develop a lasting relationship that will benefit both of us in the end.
