1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is Anne aka Anneprettyness. I’m a Beauty Vlogger from Los Angeles California. I’m Filipino originally from Manila Philippines. I’m a Physical Therapist by profession but turned to be a Beauty Content Creator.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I do a lot of Makeup tutorials and I’m mostly active on Instagram where I post one minute videos of makeup/skincare/hair everything beauty related,I also love doing creative makeup looks the most.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was working as a Physical Therapist in a Clinic and there’s 2 of us with the name Anne so when the Doctors call we both always reply and so one of my friends, his name is Elgin said from now on we will call you Pretty so that we won’t have confusions and so they all started calling me Pretty or Annepretty but when I started Youtube I was seein so many people are named Annepretty so I just thought I’d put Ness at then end just to kinda be different you know and then my name started to become Anneprettyness 😍

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always love first of, is to auto correct on iPhone and then Facetune is the only one I use to edit…I’m not a big fan of super edited pics (that’s why mostly I post videos esp with makeup I love showing realness to people) maybe that’s why people are loving me cause they’re able to relate on me.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I have a lot! My most active platform is Instagram so I’m always on it and my vlogger friends whom I meet here in LA are some of those that I really love… Also I love Makeup pages on IG where they do video tutorials

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love when people tell me they’re being inspired to look better (before they’d be shy to put makeup or just to be beautiful) and after they watch me they’re getting inspired to also do their own makeup and it makes me feel good… knowing that I’m able to help them in my own lil ways

And also I’ve mentioned this a couple of times in my IG stories.. one of the perks of being an Influencer is that you don’t line up in some events…or there’s always a VIP lane for us😅 esp my Husband loves it cause I always bring Him as my plus one in my events and when we’re able to enter very quickly, like for example a big convention that has super long line and the 2 of us just check in so quickly oh God he loves it 💞

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I have yet to explore some campaigns but I’m really excited to see what’s in store for me…

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I love brands who also engage to my posts especially when it’s an exclusive post, when I see that they comment I get more inspired to support those brands..and that’s why their PR team plays a big role…when the PR’s are very nice to me I truly put the best when I do collabs with these brands…

Authenticity is the key to a successful Social media career…even if a brand would pay me huge some I still give my genuine opinion/review about the products…I’ve never done a collab where brand tells me what to say…that’s why maybe people love me for that, cause they know they can trust my feedbacks.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Super important! Especially on Instagram where so many girls just copy what one does…it’s so important to think ideas on your own…maybe that’s why I’m excelling in my craft because I always create my own looks…I get inspiration just from everywhere like music, colors, occasions etc.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I’m able to have longer relationship with brands once I start one collaboration with them…and of course it’s an opportunity always to partner with different brands…
