Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Andrew T. Moc @MocNificent

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Andrew and I come from Rosemead, CA; which is a town in Los Angeles. I currently attend California State University, Los Angeles and am pursuing to get a degree in Business, Marketing.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are basketball, food, and collecting memorabilias. On Instagram, I normally post food, my toy collection, shoes, and every now and then, personal stuff.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name came from a middle school classmate, I thought she was cute and really liked her personality. She combined my last name and the word magnificent and created MocNificent.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t use apps to filter my pictures. I work with what I am given in the photo editing part when I’m about to upload. Occasionally, I use Photo Splash to gray out the background if I find it distracting.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really enjoy looking at CityMenu_ and Dailyfoodfeed.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The Elote Pizza from Rose City Pizza in Rosemead, CA of the United States.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

It brings people in the doors and it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Work with people who you think will help not just random users. A company messaged me to promote beauty products; my feed doesn’t compel with products other than food, collectibles and my personality.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just be yourself, if you feel that this represents you, go for it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to taste their product and they give me the option to post on whether I enjoy it or not. They give me the freedom.
