Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ana Sofia @arcticsofs

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Sofia, a girl that loves fashion and beauty. I’m from Portugal and I’m a fashion/beauty blogger. I’m also an instagrammer, and I love to do all this things. My blog has less than a year but has already some good cooperations with lots of brands.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fashion, makeup and lifestyle. I always try to make my feed better, which sometimes can be very difficult. Although, I never give up on it. I fight until the end and I believe that, if I really want one thing, I will get it!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’m crazy about music, so I thought it could turned out in some great nickname. I added my nickname (Sofia) to a band that I like (Arctic Monkeys) and I turned out being arcticsofs, and a lot of people on instagram are used to hear from arcticsofs.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I love to use Vsco. Since always, I remember using this app. I like others too, like picsart, snapseed and airbrush. They all together do the perfect team, you can bet!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m inspired by lots of instagrammers. Some of them are from Portugal, some are not. They all are goals to me, and I wish one day I can be just like them. I can give some examples: @deaddsouls, @mgouveiaa, @thriftsandthreads, @catarinacabrera.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Hmmm, that’s a good question! I think they would try a looot of things, because they really have the instagram spirit you know? But I think they would accept to try now posting 100 pictures in a row!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love to share my life with people, as well as my best and worst experience. I can help other people. I can make the difference in people’s life, and that’s really, really important to me. I want to make the difference, and it will mean the world to me if one day people will remember me as someone remarkable.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I like to have authentic photos. Where I look just like me. Where my true smile is really present. I think that’s the key, be yourself. Write what’s on your mind and photograph what you really see. That will turn out just well!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

You have to be original, ALWAYS. That’s right, you can get inspired in so many places, but inspiration doesn’t mean copy. You can get inspired and be yourself. As I said, you have to be yourself and, above of all, you have to be proud of what you do and like what you do, that would be the key for the original content. If you really enjoy doing what you do, you will always have originality and ideas!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love showing new products to my readers and followers. I just love having a good experience with a product and tell all about it to my fans. It’s really cool to feel that you influence their lifes, by showing them all the things they don’t know and that they should (ahahah). That’s the best part, the relation between my readers/followers and me.
