Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Aiko Cunanan @aikocunanan

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi there! MY name is Aiko Cunanan and I am a Los Angeles based model turned fashion blogger. I moved to Los Angeles over a year ago to pursue my life long dream of acting and modeling. Blogging was a hobby that I decided to part-take in to work on during my days off. It was the best decision I have ever made so far and kept me busy since then.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My love for fashion is shared on Instagram. I am a coffee addict so occasionally I photograph coffee to express my love for it.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I decided to keep my Instagram name handle my first and last name because it’s much easier for friends and family to find me 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I mostly use VSCO! I like making my background and photos much brighter / lighter. It helps a lot with keeping my Instagram feed look cohesive.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I adore @sincerelyjules! I love her effortless style and seeing how far she’s come since she has started.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

There’s this cute coffee shop called Carrera Cafe in Los Angeles and they let you upload photos from your phone to put on your coffee art latte <3

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer is being able to share all the things I love with my readers. I love being able to connect and share my stories.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I believe the main tip to brands is making sure the blogger’s value and brand’s values are in-line with one another. Make sure it’s truly something that the influencer would really post about /love

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always be true to yourself and share with your readers only the things and products you absolutely love. Also think quality not quantity once it comes to posting photos on social media.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best part about partnering with brands is being able to get creative at photography and story telling through photos. I love going out and shooting 🙂
