Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Zivile @Zivil.j

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a Lithuanian girl living in Leeds, UK. I’ve moved here last year, right after my applied mathematics studies. Some people are still surprised of how different my interests are, as I work in IT sector as a software tester, and a fashion model too.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I enjoy good food, clothes, and beautiful architecture. I’m about quality over quantity. It all comes together on my Instagram.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’ve tried to think of a name that would reflect my real name. I have a Lithuanian name that I’m proud of, and I wanted to use it. As my real name is Živilė, my insta name is just a shorter easier version of it, and the first name of my last name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always try and use the best lighting I can, so that I don’t have to edit photos too much. VSCO cam is my top helper for insta photos, this is where all the magic happens. I use UNUM for planning the layout, and sometimes use Snapseed for a few more touches. I usually do some minor edits using Instagram too.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I am really inspired by a Lithuanian blogger Gabriele Gzimailaite (gabrielegz on Insta). I love her style, and the passion – she’s come really far now.
I’m also always looking up to Lydia Elise Millen (lydiaemillen) – she’s gorgeous in every way.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To not over do! Minimal is the key. This applies anywhere in life. 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

As well as influencing others, I actually love being inspired myself. I have noticed how posting positive things often makes me feel happier. It may sound silly, but Instagram may help you look for nice things in life, in order to share them. And as you look for them, you realise how much beautiful stuff is around you.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I believe that originality is the key. Also, honest opinions and not being cheap. I think the most loyal customers and appreciation come from being inspired by the brand, and not from the biggest discounts.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

These are the main things that keep anyone interested. These days, when there are thousands of brands, ads, blogs, and inspiration- it’s difficult to stand out. I think good quality content doesn’t come quick. It requires much planning, effort, and failure too. But it pays back too.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love trying out new things. Whether it’s a new dish, clothing brand, or meeting new people. Novelties is what keeps life interesting. And if i can share my experiences with others-even better.
