Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: William Clemente @Willianism09

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a Certified public account from Manila Philippines. I’m currently between jobs and spending my free time travelling and taking pictures.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Most of my posts are of my adventures. I love to travel and photography goes along well with travelling. I never travel without my camera or mobile phone so i won’t miss any moment and so i could share my adventures with my friends thru social media.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I used to throw temper tantrums when i was younger. So my high school friends call those sudden bursts of anger as willianisms which is a play on my name and my immature mannerisms. 09 is the date of my birth thus the name willianism09 which i happen to use on all social media platforms. It is as unique as myself. Hehehehe

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I only use apps to enhance mosts of my pictures and i usually use my mobile devices to edit. Therefore mobile apps such as snapseed and ps express are my go to apps to enhance the quality of my pics. I also sometimes us VSCO and PIXLR for variety.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Lately i’ve been posting pictures of my adventures in my country. So social media influencers such as @jaypeeswing and @ninjarod are some of the people i look up to in instagram because they post stunning pictures of my country. I am also active in joining daily photo sessions and @jjcommunity @gramoftheday and @fotografiaunited are just some of the hubs that i actively particiapate in. I love photo sessions because they don’t only promote your pictures but you also get inspirations from the entries submitted by the other participants.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Travel. Get out and explore. There are just so many things to see so many faces to photograph and so many adventures just waiting for you. Also don’t be too concerned if you dont have the latest gadget or latest SLR to capture moments. Remember that the most important tool in photography is not your camera but your eyes and its ability to see beauty in different perspectives.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love it when people appreciate the content of my pictures. It really makes my heart jump when you see generous comments from people because they appreciate what you have posted. It also warms my heart when people are inpired by what I do.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think brands should be able to differentiate themselves from the rest of their competitors. People like brands who make them stand out. People also like to associate themselves with brands that promote a certain advocacy. Socially responsible brands thrive in the market because they promote something that make positive impact to people. And brands should stick to this advocacy. Nobody wants a brand who doesnt have a strong and loyal advocacy.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Plagiarism has been a hot topic on instagram. Therefore original content is important. YOu don’t want to be branded as someone who steals pictures from others. Quality is very important because it diffentiates you from your competitors and with competition so stiff you need to make your customers feel that they are getting the most out of their money.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Collaborating with brands is something that i want to do. It helps both parties in expanding their networks and promoting brands and products that they both believe in. It also enhances my creativity and promote my account as well. And the free products is not bad at all. 🙂
